About Us
I launched Track Day Insider (TDI) to bridge a gap I noticed in the HPDE and track day landscape. When I first hit the track, I was extremely fortunate to discover a club and community that offered a fantastic support structure that emphasized safety. While the web has its fair share of information for newcomers, resources thin out somewhat for those looking to advance their education beyond the basics. I’ve met drivers in both intermediate and advanced run groups who have gaps in their knowledge; some of those gaps are working against them while at the track.
Enamored by the support I received, I really wanted to give back to the track community at large. With that, I’ve committed to delivering a steady stream of relevant content designed to deepen your track day knowledge, regardless of your skill level. We’ll also explore the latest trends and insights in the world of HPDE / track days. Given the inherent risks of our hobby, a significant part of our content zeroes in on risk management. Our ultimate goal? To ensure you maximize your enjoyment on the track while staying safe and being able to ‘Drive home, shiny side up!’
We’re on a mission to cultivate a vibrant, passionate and supportive community where drivers at all levels can exchange insights and encourage each other.
If you’d like to contribute to Track Day Insider please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!
Cheers,
Charlie
